Most planners sort your list the way a mainstream supermarket is arranged, so half your shop ends up under “other”. Nimmi knows Patel Brothers, H Mart, the African grocer and the halal butcher, and sorts your list in the order you walk each one.

Dietary requirements
A requirement, never a preference filter
Halal, vegetarian, vegan, no beef, gluten-free: whichever is yours, it's built into the recipe, not filtered out after the fact. Pork and alcohol aren't stripped from halal recipes at the last step, they were never in the library. Ingredients that genuinely need your judgement, like soy sauce, stock cubes, gelatine or vanilla extract, carry a note telling you what to check on the label. Nimmi won't decide that for you.
And your requirements are never quietly relaxed to fill the week. If there aren't enough recipes that fit, you get a shorter week and a plain explanation of why.
The name
Nimmi (NIM-ee) means a blessing
In Arabic, ni'mah is the word for a blessing, especially the kind said over a meal. Nimmi carries that root, and it's also a real name: someone's grandmother, someone's friend. Not a slogan stretched into a brand.

- How to cancel: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Nimmi and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If you start a free trial and then buy a subscription before it ends, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.

Privacy
Nothing leaves your phone
Nimmi has no account and no server of ours. Your cuisines, your requirements, your plan and your grocery list are stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier, and nothing to opt out of. Only the check on whether you have paid leaves your phone, and the planning, the recipes and the grocery list all work offline.

Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email and no password. You answer three questions and you're in.
Which iPhones does it run on?
Any iPhone running iOS 18 or later. It's an iPhone app, so there's no iPad or Mac version yet.
Can I use it for one person? For six?
Yes. Set your household size and every recipe and the grocery list scale to it.
My store isn't listed.
Pick the closest kind of store for now and tell us which one you shop at. New aisle maps ship as data, so they arrive without waiting for an app update.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your subscription starts at $5.99 per week unless you cancel before the three days are up. Cancelling is two taps in iPhone Settings (the exact steps are in the subscription terms above).
I'm leaving Mealime. Can I bring my recipes?
Not yet: Mealime has no export. Nimmi plans your week from its own library rather than importing recipes from elsewhere.
